What materials do you use?
All Metal & Muse pieces are handmade in solid gold, sterling silver, or platinum - no plating, no shortcuts.
We offer the following gold karats:

Are the engravings really done by hand?
Yes. Every engraving is done by Marco - personally, imperfectly, and unapologetically. No machines. No repeats.
Can I request a custom engraving?
Absolutely. Message us before placing your order. We’ll confirm what’s possible and guide you through the process.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship from Auckland, New Zealand within 2–3 business days. We use trusted international carriers and provide tracking once your order is dispatched.
What if I need a ring resized?
We offer resizing for most rings. Resizing takes 5–7 business days before shipping. Message us after purchase and we’ll sort it out.
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns only if the item arrives damaged. Because each piece is handmade and sold as shown, we don’t accept returns for:

Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
Yes - the item you see in the listing is the exact piece you’ll receive. No replicas. No surprises.
But just a heads-up: your phone screen is not actual size. Photos are zoomed in to show detail, so check the listed measurements before ordering. Your ring won’t arrive the size of your screen (unless you’ve got very tiny fingers or a very large phone).
How is my order packaged?
Each piece is shipped in our custom-made protective box with pouch, ready for gifting or safekeeping.
Do you offer gift options?
Yes. If you're sending a gift, message us before ordering. We can include a handwritten note or leave out the invoice - just say the word.
Will I be charged customs or import fees?
Possibly. International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
How do I care for my jewellery?
Silver and gold are tough, but they appreciate a little TLC. Avoid harsh chemicals, store pieces separately, and give them a gentle polish now and then. If you need care tips for a specific finish, just ask.
Is there a maker’s mark on each piece?

Will the engraving fade over time?
Yes - and that’s part of the story.
Silver and gold are living metals. They wear, soften, and shift with time. Just like leather creases and denim fades, your engraving will evolve the more you wear it. That’s not a flaw - it’s a feature.
